Jesus accompanies us on our journey into the heart of God. In the early stages, we haven't yet uncovered the purpose of our life, but even then he's with us. He is patient. He is tender. He's with us as we discover who we are, who he is, and what it's all for.
In his latest "letter" to the universal Church, Pope Francis urges us to embrace the wisdom of this approach:
The work of evangelization is, above all, relational. Faith is a lived experience, a way of life that, as the saying goes, is more caught than taught. For when we open up our lives to accompany others on their journey, the opposite is also true. They accompany us on our journey. Our life becomes a living and efficacious witness to the Gospel.
